Tamro AB is the largest Swedish distributor of pharmaceuticals and healthcare products. They are a part of Tamro Group, the leading pharmaceutical wholesaler in Northern Europe. Due to the very high volumes of EDI combined with the need for increased safety and decrease of manpower, a new system was in demand.

Since 1990 Axway has been handling Tamro's EDI process. The Axway Integration Solution has resulted in flexibility to continuously add on more partners and more products.
