Prodesp began operations in October of 1969 at the Building of the Secretary of Finance in downtown São Paulo, Brazil. In the 1990s, Prodesp changed its business from a data processing bureau to an information technology company. Today, Prodesp participates in several programs and initiatives for the government.
Current management models required Prodesp to implement integrated applications and managed file transfer (MFT) processes that could be monitored and controlled. Additionally, Prodesp needed to reduce costs and operational turnaround times, while mitigating risk in data handling.
The solution was the Axway Synchrony platform. Now Prodesp has a simple yet powerful data management and handling platform for processing and integration, which is independent from client applications, operating systems and platforms. The solution ensures data access security, provides file compression and decreases overall operating cost.
