IPC’s members handle roughly 80% of all the mail delivered in the world, amounting to more than 300 billion letters annually. To monitor postal quality service, ensure traceability, and measure performance against targets, IPC manages over 160,000 messages daily. IPC had been using AMTrix as its EDI solution since 1995; but when the IPC engineer responsible for the solution left, IPC learned that procedures had not been properly documented. “We had several options open to us at that time. Axway assured us that it was capable of taking whatever we had running on AMTrix, and migrating it to Axway B2Bi Solutions. We decided to do a proof-of-concept to compare the AMTrix environment with Axway B2Bi Solutions,” said Lionel Gilmont, EDI Infrastructure Manager at the International Post Corporation. “Once we had the opportunity to evaluate the Axway B2Bi platform, and to work closely with Axway engineers, we were confident in making the choice to migrate.”
