Coop Norway (B2Bi)

Coop Norway is owned by 1.25 million citizens of Norway. 25% of groceries sold in Norway come from a Coop store. Coop Norway supports more than 1,000 stores in Norway and Sweden with a total supply chain integration and management solution. More than 42,000 EDI messages come through the system daily, including up to ten thousand invoices each night. Coop needed a system that could provide exceptional speed, reliability, and visibility into these transactions. Initially Coop Norway deployed Axway’s AMTrix solution before upgrading to Axway B2Bi. Following the installation, Coop Norway ran a performance test comparing the old AMTrix solution to Axway B2Bi. “When we conducted the invoice processing test, we were amazed at the improvement in performance. Axway B2Bi was nine times faster,” said Oddgar Linnerud, Team Leader, EDI & Integration.
