PHOENIX – April 24, 2011 –– Axway (NYSE Euronext: AXW.PA), the Business Interaction Networks company, announced today that it will be hosting a series of speaking sessions at Overheid & ICT on 24-26 April 2012 in Utrecht, Netherlands. The Overheid & ICT annual conference is one of the most important events for
government and public administrations, and aims to bring together professionals who are involved in information technology management and maintenance, business intelligence, security and software.
The first session, taking place on 24 April, will be lead by Wim Vijfhuize, solutions consultant at Axway, will cover open standards protocols (ebXML and Web Services), and new Axway solutions for easy and secure exchanges between B2B and G2G communities.
The second session, taking place 25 April, hosted by Pim van der Eijk, senior advisor on standards at OASIS and Albert Kappe, Senior IT architect from Axway customer, the Ministry of Justice and Safety, will conduct a session focusing on Digikoppeling and business document exchange standards for use in e-Government and on the Justice Service Interface used by JustID. The Justice Service Interface is used for services such as basic registrations queries, data retrieval in the new Commercial Register of the Chamber of Commerce, processing invoice flows, and validating message flows and international exchanges with other Justice organizations in Europe.
The final session, taking place 26 April, will be hosted by Filip Steurs, account manager for public sector at Axway and Jilles Van Oossanen, IT consultant at the European Business Process Institute (EBPI), an Axway consulting partner for BPM in the public sector. Steurs and Van Oossanen will share their knowledge and explain how the collaboration between EBPI and Axway has lead to concrete solutions for quick and easy connection of (smaller) organizations to Digikoppeling – a set of standards for electronic data interchange (EDI) between government organizations.
