Dr. Taher Elgamal of Axway to Speak at CA World 2011

PHOENIX – November 14, 2011 – Axway (NYSE Euronext: AXW), the Business Interaction Networks company, announced today that Dr. Taher Elgamal, chief security advisor, Axway, will be taking part in two sessions at CA World in Las Vegas, Nevada, November 13 -16. CA World brings together over 6,000 IT management experts to share best practices and innovations across all environments – from mainframe and distributed to virtual and cloud.   

Dr. Elgamal, inventor of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), will lead the session entitled “Information Security and Cyber-Fraud – Now and in the Future.” The session will address current cyber-attacks and threats, effective countermeasures, and how organizations can design their security infrastructure to adapt.  Cloud computing and mobile IT effects on the current security model will be examined, and he will discuss future trends in cyber-fraud. 

In addition, Axway’s Dr. Elgamal will partake in a panel entitled “Hot Topics in Identity Access Management (IAM) Today – A View from the Front Lines.” The panel will cover the challenges that today’s IT organizations face in the area of IAM. Trends the panel will focus on are the consumerization of IT, mobility, increased collaboration and social media. This session will bring together technology managers and industry thought-leaders who will discuss how they are managing the security implications of these trends, particularly issues related to enterprise mobility.
