Ruby Raley, director of healthcare solutions, Axway, will discuss “5 Steps for HIPAA Compliance” — in plain English, the necessary steps to ensure that health record exchange is secure and compliant. Raley will explore key components to risk assessments mandated by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), breach notification rules and emerging requirements from the Office of Civil Rights (OCR).

The presentation will include information on regulatory issues, industry mandates and recommendations made by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC).
