Axway to Present at 10th Annual Smart Card Alliance Government Conference

PHOENIX – November 1, 2011 – Axway (NYSE Euronext: AXW), the Business Interaction Networks company, announced today that John Thielens, chief architect of cloud services at Axway, will participate in the panel “Mobile Identity Technology and Applications” at the 10th Annual Smart Card Alliance Government Conference on November 3, 2011. The annual conference features comprehensive coverage of real-world efforts toward strong authentication technology in government identity programs, including local, state and federal credentials, such as Personal Identity Verification (PIV), developments in National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace (NSTIC) and evolving global standards. Thielens will explain how to successfully integrate mobile into Federal Public Key Infrastructure (FPKI) and address key considerations to ensure secure credentialing in an increasingly mobile workforce. With deadlines for mobile Homeland Security Presidential Directives 12 (HSPD-12) looming, all federal government agencies, employees and contractors will be held to new mandatory standards for secure and reliable forms of identification on mobile devices. In this panel discussion, Thielens will share best practices for integrating mobile and handheld solutions within the existing infrastructure.
