Axway to Participate in the Global Track & Trace Leadership Forum

PHOENIX – October 25, 2011 – Axway (NYSE Euronext: AXW), the Business Interaction Networks company, announced today they will be participating in the Global Track & Trace Leadership Forum hosted by the Global Track & Trace (GTT) alliance on October 25, 2011. Axway, in cooperation with other companies specializing in serialization and track and trace for the pharmaceutical industry, created the GTT alliance in 2009 to educate and guide companies facing the constantly evolving challenges in the pharmaceutical supply chain. The forum will include an update on global regulations, serialization and its impact on cold chain as well as break-out sessions for IT, supply chain and manufacturing.

GTT provides information on industry standards, such as European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA), Electronic Product Code Information Services (EPCIS) and GS1. Additionally, GTT supplies companies with a fully-functional solution center, mapping out the different technologies and solutions, including electronic submissions to regulatory bodies, cold chain, diversion and anti-counterfeiting, as they match companies’ unique serializations needs. GTT’s 4th event will be a round-table discussion, including presentations and interactive sessions with industry experts and thought leaders. Topics will include dynamic challenges of the pharmaceutical industry and how companies can address issues like business justification, compliance and serialization.
