Axway Cloud Architect to Present at Identity Protection and Management Conference 2011

PHOENIX - April 14, 2011– Axway, the Business Interaction Networks company, announced today that John Thielens, chief architect of cloud services, will be presenting at the 2011 Identity Protection and Management Conference (IPMC) in Orlando on April 18th. The annual conference is aimed at physical defense security professionals who work in the identity management arena and are interested in learning more about industry trends and potential threats.  Axway helps government agencies meet the increasing demand for security and network protection by creating scalable and flexible security solutions.

Thielens will be presenting on the topic of “The Future of Authentication,” addressing the public sector’s shift towards multi-factor authentication. In the past, use of traditional logins and passwords in government agencies has led to security breaches, fraud and data leaks. Given government employees’ increased mobility, increased authentication is necessary in order to protect sensitive information. Thielens will also discuss the incorporation of biometrics into modern authentication strategy.

IPMC 2011 will be held in Orlando, Florida from April 18-20 in conjunction with the Identity Protection and Management Exposition (iPME) at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld.
