Swiss Federal Office of Information Technology, Systems and Telecommunication (FOITT) Relies on Axway for Seamless National and International Data Exchange of Transit Data

PHOENIX - 13 September, 2010 - The Swiss Federal Office of Information Technology, Systems and Telecommunication (FOITT) relies on Axway Integrator for data synchronization with the 29 New Computerized Transit System (NCTS) member countries. The system conversion addresses the rapidly increasing volume of data for customs clearance of the Swiss freight traffic. That is what FOITT prepares for and relies on the robust and scalable Axway technology to do.

Crucial for FOITT’s decision were good and long standing relations with Axway, the Business Interaction Networks company, in reference with customs clearance. Given the rapidly increasing volume of data exchange, FOITT needs to rely on a modern and scalable platform for data exchange with the Brussels Board of Freight.  Also important for the decision for Axway Integrator was the existence of a migration path from the AMTrix solution, enabling the smooth transfer of existing processes and document translation rules.
