Axway Solutions are Drummond Certified™ for ebXML Interoperability

PHOENIX – September 15, 2010 – Axway, the Business Interaction Networks company, today announced that its business-to-business (B2B) and managed file transfer (MFT) solutions have successfully completed Drummond Group’s testing for ebXML messaging interoperability.  Drummond Group, Inc. (DGI), a global leader in business-to-business (B2B) interoperability software testing and certification, uses product tests to minimize compatibility issues in multi-enterprise communications.

The ebXML Messaging profile specifically focuses on document transfer between two or more parties, and is intended to standardize the way B2B transactions are transmitted in any size enterprise.  Axway solutions also garnered certification in additional optional test profiles: Automotive Retail, a profile test designed specifically for GZIP-based compression, and XML Encryption, which tests XML encryption and SSL client authentication.

An OASIS (Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards) standard, ebXML Messaging Services 2.0 enables secure and reliable internet data interchange.  It complements emerging service oriented architectures (SOAs).
