Axway Introduces File Transfer Direct in Mexico Through the TEAM Distribution Channel

Mexico, D.F. July 28, 2010 - Axway, the Business Interaction Networks company, today announces the launch of File Transfer Direct in Mexico, as part of their strategic alliance with TEAM.  The joint initiative is designed to support information security for Mexican organizations.

One of the main challenges companies face today is management of files as they are attached to emails and safely transferred inside and outside their organizations. Whether small or large, these files can contain key confidential information about the enterprise and their customers; the objective is protecting them in their way to the final intended recipient.

Additionally, the large files easily drain the mailboxes’ capacity, and increase the demand for server storage capacity. Simply put, email is not designed to transfer high-volume or large-sized files.

Traditional solutions are unsafe
Facing this challenge, traditional solutions impose severe limitations to the attached files’ size, forcing employees to develop their own way of sharing files outside of company policy. They often turn to FTP, freeware, messaging agencies, or public exchange file services on the Internet, all of them lacking file security and even more risky than regular email.
