Axway Solutions Certified by Drummond Group for AS3 Interoperability

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., March 17, 2009 – – Axway, the leading global provider of multi-enterprise solutions and infrastructure, today announced that Axway Gateway, Axway Gateway Interchange and Axway Endpoint Activator have been certified for AS3 Interoperability by Drummond Group, Inc. Axway’s certified solutions also successfully completed an optional test, Very Large Message Exchange (VLM), which tested messages with payloads up to 1 GB.

The AS3 standard dictates how data is transferred over the Internet using File Transfer Protocol (FTP). The AS3 interoperability test consists of a rigorous checklist in which vendors go through an automated testing process. According to Drummond Group, because Axway is Drummond Certified™ for both AS2 and AS3, companies using Axway’s AS2 products can also take advantage of their AS3 certified products for VLM exchange over the Internet.
