Enhancements Make it Easier to Deploy Large Communities to Manage Orders of Controlled Substances

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Organizations who rely on Axway's award-winning Synchrony™ Controlled Substance Ordering System (CSOS) can now access new capabilities that make it easier to interact with top trading partners to manage regulated pharmaceuticals. Synchrony CSOS reduces operational expenses, increases security and ensures real-time compliance with U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) regulations.

Aiding interaction across the broader pharmaceutical supply chain, Synchrony CSOS is now easier to implement, by leveraging pre-configured profiles for existing Synchrony CSOS customers. These customers include all of the Big Three Pharma distributors, 70 percent of the regional distributors, and many of the top pharmaceutical manufacturers and retailers. The solution also provides a provisioning framework "wizard" to automate the process of adding thousands of pharmacies to the CSOS trading community.
