SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Axway now offers a service plan for companies using Axway-developed custom products. The new Enterprise Service Plan (ESP) can be added to standard Axway product maintenance plans for custom applications, modules, components, and solutions. The offering, currently available in North America, the United Kingdom, and Africa, provides customers with support for custom components including education, upgrades, updates, and patches.
"When our customers have specific needs, Axway's Professional Services Organization (PSO) can create custom modules to their individual requirements. Those modules require upgrades and patches, just like the core solution, to protect our customers' investments in us," said Rohit Khanna, SVP of NA and UK consulting and professional services at Axway. "Dynamic customization of applications is becoming standard in the marketplace. Over time the ESP will lower cost of ownership and will preserve the value of such dynamic, specialized applications."
Coverage includes educational materials and phone and email support during installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and product upgrades. Under the plan Axway ensures that the custom components will be compatible with future releases and versions of the core solution. In addition, as customers' needs change, Axway will provide personalized impact analyses for potential enhancements or modifications required to meet those needs.
"Companies today need assurance when it comes to safeguarding their technology investments. Customized solutions should have the upgradeability, support, and guaranteed quality of standard software," said Dave Bennett, CTO of Axway. "Axway customers will benefit when their solutions, including custom components like Java interfaces, provisioning services, and secure Web mailboxes, are all aligned with Axway releases and product developments. The coverage will protect their software investments."
