SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Axway Inc., a leading provider of collaborative business solutions, today introduced Provisioning Services, a self-service onboarding solution that enables customers to automatically establish connections to business-to-business (B2B) communities.
Axway Provisioning Services offers enterprises a number of advantages that accelerate the growth of B2B trading communities by rapidly deploying Axway's EndPoint: Activator connections. It features a self-service technology infrastructure and automated on-boarding methodology that reduces errors, lowers support costs, and reduces burdens on operations.
Modern organizations face two logistical challenges when they build and maintain B2B trading communities: deploying and configuring the initial communication software and managing trading artifacts across the community members. Axway's Provisioning Services offering was developed to address these issues.
"Axway's Provisioning Services offers a rapid way to create B2B trading communities that requires little configuration, deploys in just minutes, and has minimal Professional Services requirements," said Rohit Khanna, Axway's senior vice president of North America & UK consulting and professional services. "The offering provides a diversity of related services for new EndPoint software deployments, updating existing EndPoint installations, updating and synchronizing certificates, applying software patches, and installing or updating custom code." Axway offers several EndPoint solutions, based on customer needs. The current Provisioning Services offering deploys Synchrony EndPoint: Activator. Future versions will deploy all other Axway Synchrony EndPoints.
Axway Provisioning Services includes the following highlights:
Provisioning Services is offered both as a licensed software tool and in a SaaS model. "EndPoint provisioning and related services are among the many cloud computing services and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offerings provided by Axway," adds Khanna.
"In today's challenging environment, our customers require more and more dynamic capabilities in their trading communities — collective innovation is a key driver for them, and rapid provisioning is critical to their success," said Dave Bennett, Axway's chief technology officer. "Our new Provisioning Services offering creates, automates, and extends their ecosystems to become much more agile."
