SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. and PARIS - Cyclone Commerce and Axway, which are currently integrating operations following their January merger, today announced that Daryl Eicher has been promoted to vice president of healthcare and industry solutions. In his new role, Daryl will be responsible for increasing collaboration and compliance in healthcare commercial operations. Additionally, Leigh Kurtz has joined the company as North American legal counsel to manage legal operations.
"We're excited that these executive appointments add to our ongoing, positive growth. Daryl's experience with Cyclone's well-established healthcare practice will strengthen our position in helping companies ensure safe, secure and efficient supply chains," said Christophe Fabre, CEO of Axway. "Having Leigh join the legal team will aid us in managing smooth customer and partner contract operations."
Eicher will continue to play a vital role in Cyclone and Axway's integrated approach to helping companies develop long-term compliance strategies for addressing a range of governmental legislation and trading-partner mandates. "As a joint entity, it is our goal to help customers grow their profitability and sharpen their competitive edge by efficiently addressing current and future compliance requirements. The recent introduction of our Healthcare Compliance Suite is another step in the right direction," said Eicher.
Eicher founded BizGenics, a company Cyclone acquired in 2004, which applied his experience with business intelligence and analytics for B2B to the healthcare practice. While at Cyclone, Eicher also founded the Distribution Program Leadership Council in collaboration with the HDMA and continues to lead the Council today.
Adding additional expertise to the North American team, Kurtz brings 10 years of business, contract and commercial law experience, with substantial knowledge of such technology issues as software, hardware, IT outsourcing and IT services. Prior to joining Cyclone, Kurtz successfully managed all aspects of a billion dollar outsourcing contract at Computer Sciences Corporation; additionally, she negotiated and drafted multi-million dollar software licensing agreements for Vcommerce Corporation, an e-commerce software company with Fortune 500 clients.
