Axway and Cyclone Commerce Positioned in Leaders Quadrant in Analyst Firm's B2B Gateway Providers Magic Quadrant

Companies Evaluated on Vision and Ability to Execute

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Axway and Cyclone Commerce, which are currently in the process of integrating operations following their merger in January 2006, today announced that they have each been positioned in the Leader quadrant in Gartner, Inc.'s Magic Quadrant for B2B Gateway Providers, 1Q 2006i.

The combined company serves 7,000 customers around the globe in a wide range of vertical markets. The combined entity will continue to leverage its leadership in B2B and integration solutions, in addition to delivering vertical solutions for the healthcare and financial services markets.

The Magic Quadrant, which was written by Gartner Research Analyst L. Frank Kenney, states that B2B gateways "continue to be in high demand from organizations of every size, regardless of industry expertise." The report goes on to state that "…we continue to see a strong emphasis on the basic core functionality of the B2B gateway: secure communications, adaptive capabilities, event management, translation, and most importantly, TPM [Trading Partner Management]."

"We believe being positioned in the Leader quadrant is a strong indicator that Cyclone and Axway are right on target with our vision for serving the marketplace," says Dave Bennett, Cyclone founder and chief technology officer of the combined company. "We feel this recognition highlights the overwhelmingly positive industry perception of our offerings. The combination of our strengths in products and services makes us the natural choice for businesses facing collaboration, integration, and compliance needs."

According to Gartner, Leaders are performing well today, have a clear vision of market direction and are actively building competencies to sustain their leadership position in the market.
