Tumbleweed CEO to Speak at Bear Stearns Technology Conference

REDWOOD CITY, CA - June 7, 2002 - Tumbleweed® Communications Corp. (Nasdaq:TMWD), a leading provider of secure content management for enabling the business Internet, announced today that Jeff Smith, Chairman & CEO will be presenting at the 13th Annual Bear Stearns Technology Conference.

Smith's presentation is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. EDT on Thursday, June 13, 2002 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City. Tumbleweed's Secure Guardian will be presented in the technology showcase at the conference June 12 - 13.
