Tumbleweed Grows in US and Europe
REDWOOD CITY, CA - March 8, 2000 - Tumbleweed® Communications Corp. (Nasdaq:TMWD), a leading provider of Internet communications services, today announced that the company has opened new offices in Chicago, Dallas, Washington D.C. and in Amsterdam to serve growing geographic and vertical markets.

The new Tumbleweed BV office in Amsterdam, headed by Arien Klomp, augments Tumbleweed's presence in Europe, which already includes field offices in the UK, France and Germany as well as a European sales organization that currently includes more than 45 sales and support people.
In addition to its headquarters in Redwood City, California, at 14 Wall Street in New York City, in New Jersey and in Hartford, Connecticut, Tumbleweed is now represented in Chicago by John McLeod, regional manager, central region, in Dallas by Claude Sehnert, and in the Washington D.C. area by Matt Adams, regional manager, federal region. Tumbleweed's US-based sales organization currently numbers 44.
