Standards-developing Organizations (SDOs)

Standards-developing organizations – such as HL7 for healthcare, RosettaNet for supply chain, OASIS for IT, ACORD for financial services, GS1, IETF, UN/CEFACT and many others – work to create and maintain consistency and cost containment in their respective industries.
